Kind regards! /OAI used to do something similar, I would mix the backing tracks down to stereo wavs and duplicate it onto multiple gadgets, phones, ipods and the like and take multiple versions of every lead needed to connect anything to everything and sacrifice a goat, maybe even two before you kick off. Is using a laptop reliable with vsts live? If you recommend that route, what exactly would I need? OR, is there a magical synthesizer that can clone my vst patches and store them internally? So that I can bring that on stage instead? A solution that is as simple as possible and with as little things able to go wrong live would be preferable I believe. Because now comes the question on how on earth to perform it live I have 0 experience in playing these kinds of things live, so how should I go about doing so in your opinion? Should I go with using a laptop and a midi controller? Patch changes is not something that happens that much in the songs, so that might make it easier.
